Service Update: vAMSYS Transformer & Temporary Workaround
We are writing to address an issue regarding the vAMSYS Transformer currently listed on the SimVector platform when creating deliveries in regards to Airline Routes.
We must admit that the current version of the transformer was uploaded in an incomplete state and does not function as intended. To prevent further errors and confusion, we will be disabling the vAMSYS Flight Format on SimVector effective immediately while we work on a proper, complete implementation.
The Workaround
In the meantime, a local Python-based solution is available to help you get your routes into the vAMSYS format.
How to use the external converter:
- Export from SimVector: Export your route using the phpVMS v7 format.
- Download the Tool: Grab the converter script from the GitHub repository linked below.
- Convert Locally: Follow the instructions in the repository to convert the file into the vAMSYS format.
Download the phpVMS v7 to vAMSYS Converter
We apologize for the oversight regarding the initial upload and appreciate your patience while we work on the native integration.
